Warehouse Operative Mixer - Twilight in Newquay

Our client, an established manufacture of car accessories based in Newquay are looking to recruit a Trainee Warehouse Production Mixer to join their team.

Previous experience in handling/mixing chemicals IS essential.

What we offer:

• £12.48 an hour untrained - Trained £13.66 an hour.
• Shift Pattern: 16:15 - 00:15 - Will be moved onto nights after being fully trained which will be 00:15 to 08:15-Sunday to Thursday nights
• Monday to Friday (NO WEEKENDS)
• Immediate starts available.
• Weekly pay.
• Temp – Ongoing with potential permanent contracts available after 12 weeks!
• Accrue Holiday pay.
• Excellent scope and development within the group.

The Main responsibilities of the role will be:

• To Mix and test all products from information sheets and without direct supervision.
• Responsible for assisting in maintaining the efficiency of the mixing area and personal Health and safety of other team members on the mixing platform.
• Be able to clean mixing vessels and pipework within the specified standard time, using the correct solvents.
• To contribute to the sites cost down targets by looking for opportunities to improve standard work activities and mixing processes.

Requirements

• Must have safety boots.
• Must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle. 

You must be physically capable of moving, loading, and packing various weights of products and ideally you would have a background in handling/mixing chemicals BUT this is not essential.
