We welcome a quarter of a million people to Tintagel Castle each year. They come from all over the world, and for many of them, it's a once-in-a-lifetime visit. We try to do everything we can to make sure that they get the most out of their day by giving them a fantastic visitor experience.
We're recruiting for a Visitor Welcome Manager at Tintagel Castle to help lead our front of house operation . You will be responsible for ensuring our Membership and Admissions teams are working to deliver targets and provide a great visitor experience.
As part of the management team you will lead, train and coach our staff to deliver a great visitor experience and to ensure that we hit our income and key performance targets both for admissions and membership. You will focus on building the capability of the team, driving results and helping control costs to ensure we make a surplus for the charity. Working with colleagues you will also help manage the day to day running of the site operations team, undertaking duty supervisor tasks and work on the ground actively taking part in face to face selling.
You will understand exactly what it takes to deliver excellent customer service and provide a great visitor experience . You will also have experience of managing a team, delivering staff training and managing team performances whilst driving results. You will also set and maintain high standards of customer service and front of house presentation standards and have an understanding of health and safety in the workplace.
