Trainee Waterslide Technician

Our client an experienced nationwide waterslide services specialise in the maintenance, repair and BSEN 1069 certification of waterslides and flumes in Waterparks, Leisure Centres and Holiday Parks are looking for a trainee waterslide technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be hands on and have a mechanical background. 

What we offer:

• Annual Salary  
• immediate start - Pending an interview. 
• Permanent role. 
• Up to £60 per weeknight work bonus.
• Occasional ride testing.
• Night works required on some sites.
• Paid a minimum of 8 hours for night works but usually under 8 hours worked. 
• Holidays, vary, however, most school holidays we are on call out rather than on site.
• After initial training, two to three weeks (but training will be ongoing) We will agree a rate for travel and a rate for site work. 
• Uniform & PPE provided, except for footwear (non-slip trainers).
• Full training provided and usually working in teams of two to three technicians.
• Hotel, breakfast, and evening meals paid for.
• Depending on locality, we will pick up and drop off technicians from their home or agreed location.

The Role:

• Inspection and maintenance of giant Waterslides/Flumes in Leisure Centres, Water Parks, Holiday Parks. 
• Working throughout the UK and up to 4 times a year in Ireland (passport required) 
• Carry out a visual inspection of the ride surfaces, the exterior and the supports. 
• Carry out maintenance & repairs where required. 
• Working and staying away from home, up to 4 nights per week.
• Hours will vary, due to varying travel times, some days may be more than 8 hours. 
• Traveling on a Sunday is occasionally required.
• Driving licence is preferred but not essential.
