Technical Support - Pendennis Falmouth in Falmouth

We are currently recruiting for new members in expanding technical roles to support work on both refits and construction of new vessels.
Job Description:
The successful candidates will be a valued member of the exterior outfit team responsible for the preliminary and production design works for sailing and motor yachts (30 to 70m+)
Duties:
, Working with our Design and Project Engineers to generate production drawings and instructions for the outfitting packages on yachts, both new build and refits.
, Designing equipment and systems, drawing equipment installations and foundations for items as diverse as captive winch systems to shower head fittings- Doors, windows, sailing systems, cranes, hatches, anchor systems etc
, Liaising with other trades to resolve space and routing conflicts.
, Liaison with the production engineers regarding the handover of drawings for the build process.
, Liaison with suppliers and surveyors over design information.
, Designing with consideration and understanding of regulatory regimes and rules for yachts and ships
, Creation of documentation with respect to the day to day running of the vessel.
Skills and experience required:
Microsoft Office Suite – Essential.
Autocad 2D – Essential.
Autocad Inventor / PDS - Desirable
Rhinocerous - Desirable
The applicant should be able to work with minimal supervision, have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
