Our client in Penzance is seeking a temporary telephonist to work 18-24 hours/week on a temporary, on-going basis. This position will be based on reception and will be within a helpdesk role. This is an immediate staff and shifts will vary, including 6am – midday, midday – 6pm, and 6pm-midnight. Ideal candidates will be flexible for weekday and weekend work.
Successful candidates will demonstrate great customer service skills and be personable and organised. The role includes weekend working, and flexibility is key.
Duties will include answering the inbound calls, diverting where necessary, taking messages, and emailing appropriate persons. Ideally, we are seeking candidates with an admin background, with good computer skills.
Key responsibilities –
- Answering incoming calls and places outgoing calls.
- Directs call to other staff members or departments.
- Effective communication to other departments
- Must be polite and courteous while answering the phone.
The pay rate for this role will be £10.00 an hour, bank holidays are paid for at time and a half.
