Support Worker in Porthpean, Cornwall

We currently have an opportunity for support workers to join our team assisting individuals living in the Porthpean area. You will be responsible for enabling 6-7 individuals living in their own flats with access to a support hub.
We are looking for people who will bring great energy, creativity and innovative ideas to supporting individuals and getting the most out of this exciting project. Somebody who is keen to promote Assistive Living Technology would be an advantage.
You will be resilient, have a strong personality and be able to work on different levels to suit varying personalities and needs. You will also need to be patient and good humoured. Preferably you will have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and be able to work in a way that is truly person centred - aiming to make a real difference to the individual’s lives by promoting independence and enhancing their perception of quality of life.
We would also be interested in hearing from people who would like the idea of joining the team on a casual basis.
Current rota availability...
Hours: 28 hours per week
Week One: Fri 10pm-7am, Sat 10pm-7am, Sun 10pm-8am
Week Two: Tues 10pm-7am, Wed 10pm-7am, Thurs 10pm-8am
Additional hours may be available during the week and definitely during out of term time.

Salary: £10 per hour between 10pm-7am and £9 per around that. Experience preferred but not essential as a range of training is provided.
