My client, a telecom network service provider based in Indian Queens, is looking for Street Works Compliance Assistant to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Start Date:  ASAP.

The purpose of the role is to provide support to the management of fines and defects received from the Highway Authorities, raising necessary permits/notices, and maintaining trackers.

The Role:

  • £28,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5:30pm
  • Process & investigate NRSWA/TMA fines and defects received
  • Maintaining NRSWA/TMA system
  • Raising & administering notices & permits in relation to fines, defects, and interim reinstatements
  • Liaising with local authorities, internal staff, and third parties
  • Monitor notices/permits to ensure compliance
  • Updating trackers, reports, and records
  • Excellent career progression opportunities

Experience Required:

  • 2 years' of street works / utilities experience, with a construction main contractor or for the local councils
  • Able to liaise and maintain good relationships with external parties
  • Good organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work proactively, accurately, and methodically under pressure
  • IT literate
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook)
  • Good team-working skills
