An excellent new opportunity has arisen for a Stores Administrator to join a Global Market Leading manufacturing business in the Camelford area.
This is a great chance for the right Administrator to join a business that invests in its workforce and provides excellent training and development.
The Role
Working in a fast-paced stores department your main duties will be processing the movement of goods, products, processing incoming goods and storing them in the correct locations and to preparing finished goods for distribution to Engineers
• Daily Expediting using SAP
• Ordering and maintaining spare part levels and locations
• Picking and/or kitting items, utilising booking in system
• Obtaining specialist support from suppliers, specialists and contractors
• Customer Service
• Working with Quality to maintain audit-readiness in the engineering department
• Stock transaction processing, dealing with goods coming in and making sure they are stored correctly
• Order packing, using in house computer systems
• General warehousing duties including stock put away and movements
• Perform simple quality inspection tasks on receipt of goods
• Stock counting
• Knowledge of SAP and stock rotation (FIFO) procedures are desirable.
The hours and shifts
Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
