Paramount Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to join a luxury country house hotel. This highly regarded employer is looking for an outstanding Sous Chef to join their already fantastically skilled team of Chefs in their busy kitchens. The Sous Chef must have similar hotel experience, a strong passion for cooking and a great working attitude.
The Sous Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking locally sourced fresh produce including a variety of seasonal dishes and seafood, to lead a team of Chefs within allocated sections, to assist with menu planning, stock control and waste management, to ensure kitchen documentation is up to date and food safety legislations / company regulations are adhered to at all times, to oversee the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and to ensure service is continually efficient and delivered in a timely manner. There are two restaurants on site: one 2 Rosette and one more informal which is all day dining.
