Senior Support Worker - St Austell in St Austell

As a Senior Support Worker for Cornwall Care, you’ll be working in our community within a team of likeminded individuals who all genuinely care about those people whose homes you are working in.
What you’ll do:
To work as a senior member of the care team who is responsible for the delivery of high quality, professional person centred care and support for people in the community; enabling their independence in a safe, non-judgemental and positive environment.
Assist the Community Learning and Development Business Partner to deliver in-house Moving and Handling, Basic Life Support and Care Manager training as and when required, across all Community Services where required.
To carry out routine observations and clinical competencies to ensure an outstanding quality of service is being provided.
Ensure that all paperwork is kept up to date, correctly stored in accordance with GPDR and meets the CQC compliance and statutory regulations
What you’ll need:
Diploma or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care, or Level 2 plus 18 months experience
Have a driving licence and own transport
Working knowledge of care plans and risk assessments.
Minimum of one years’ experience as a Care Assistant
Good standard of literacy and numeracy
Excellent interpersonal skills
