We are a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity, giving practical assistance for all types of care."We believe in going above and beyond offering high-quality care, going that extra mile to improve lives every day."As a Senior Support Worker for Cornwall Care, you’ll be working in our community within a team of likeminded individuals who all genuinely care about those people whose homes you are working in.What you’ll do:To work as a senior member of the care team who is responsible for the delivery of high quality, professional person centred care and support for people in the community; enabling their independence in a safe, non-judgemental and positive environment.Assist the Community Learning and Development Business Partner to deliver in-house Moving and Handling, Basic Life Support and Care Manager training as and when required, across all Community Services where required.To carry out routine observations and clinical competencies to ensure an outstanding quality of service is being provided.Ensure that all paperwork is kept up to date, correctly stored in accordance with GPDR and meets the CQC compliance and statutory regulationsWhat you’ll need:Diploma or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care, or Level 2 plus 18 months experienceHave a driving licence and own transportWorking knowledge of care plans and risk assessments.
