My client near Redruth are looking for a 2nd Chef to join their Restaurant Team at a local Cornish attraction.

This role is based in a Cornish attraction with an on site restaurant open 9am - 5pm 7 days per week, you will be required to work 5 days out of 7 including weekends (However these days are split between 2nd & Head Chef)
Earlier starts of 7 or 8am may be required to suit the needs of the business of special events.
IMMEDIATE START

As Second Chef you will work alongside the Head chef to manage daily kitchen activities, aiding with menu preparation and creations, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking.
Provide meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes using only locally sourced produce
You will be required to lead the kitchen team in Head chef's absence - 2 days per week, supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards

This is a permanent full time position offering an hourly rate of £11 per hour minimum of 24 hours per week (low season), increasing to full-time in our peak trading season, plus bonus.

Requirements for this role;
- 3-5 years minimum in a management role within a kitchen
- up to date Food Hygiene & Safety certificates
