About You
We are always looking for temporary workers to join us for our super busy seasons.
This involves working across a range of shifts (earlies 0600-1400, lates 1400-2200 and nights 2200-0600) making our warehouse functional 24 hours a day.
You will undertake a range of work from quality checking garments, to picking and packing orders.
You’ll have a great eye for detail and be adept at picking up potential issues with products as you inspect them. You’ll be organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You’ll be active and able to work on your feet, standing for long periods of time. You’ll also be able to lift and move medium weight boxes.
About the Role
When you’re working on Quality Control, you’ll be assisting our Production team to ensure that Frugi delivers on its promise to have the best quality product, that fits beautifully and exceeds our customers’ expectations.
You’ll be conducting visual and measurement inspections and checking for general product safety. You’ll then need to record information about any defective items and report to our Production Team.
When you’re working with our Warehouse team you’ll be responsible for picking and packing both consumer and trade orders. You’ll need to be accurate, to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly. You’ll also be involved in stock taking, accepting deliveries and general warehouse duties. It’s a varied role, within a great team.
Essential skills
You’ll be able to work flexibly during our busy period, including weekends, nights and short notice work.
You’ll be physically fit; able to work night shifts, lift medium weight boxes and work on your feet for long periods of time.
You’ll have good IT skills and be able to learn in-house systems quickly.
You’ll be receptive to training and be able to follow processes and operating procedures.
With brilliant attention to detail you’ll be able to maintain accuracy when working at pace in a busy environment.
Organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
You’ll communicate effectively (written and verbally) with all contacts at all levels.
You’ll be a good team worker, with a collaborative approach and a positive ‘can do’ attitude to tasks.
Basic fabric or product knowledge is useful, but not essential.
You will be able to adhere to social distancing requirements inline with our safety policy to protect you and your colleagues.
As this role is to include night shift working, you must be over 18 years of age to apply.
What’s in it for you?
We’re offering a number of flexible short-term contracts during our busy periods.
Working shifts will be either earlies (0600-1400), lates (1400-2200) or nights (2200-0600) Monday – Sunday. Rota's are allocated depending on deliveries and workload and shift patterns may rotated.
The number of hours we can offer you each week will vary. You will not be asked to work more than 37.5 hours in a week, although voluntary overtime may be available on occasion.
We’ll invest in you with a competitive hourly rate.
Night shifts are paid at an additional 15%.
