The role of the Registered Manager (Care)
The Registered Manager will lead on the delivery of high standard evidence based care and to provide evidence that the care being delivered meets the needs and wishes of people residing in the home and their family/friends/advocates.

• Are you an inspiring leader, with strong clinical skills who wants become part of the Cornwall Care management team?
• Could you oversee the provision of care and related services within the care home in accordance with Cornwall Care’s Policies and Procedures, and comply with CQC Outcomes, Regulations, Quality, Compliance and Notifications, to deliver a service within the specification of any contract that exists.
• Could you be the face of Cornwall Care high quality care delivery in the local community?

• Can you inspire and empower your colleagues to support with the implementation of new and exciting care models?

Do you have the following?
• Nursing Home Care Manager must be a Registered Nurse with a current PIN
• Residential Home Care Manager must have at least 3 years relevant experience and CPD in a residential or care setting.
• Educated to GCSE level English and Maths.
• At least two years’ experience working in a leadership role.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Demonstrable commitment to the delivery of excellent care and support
• Qualified; Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5, equivalent, or prepared to undertake.
• Knowledge of the standards and regulations applicable to a registered care home in England.
• Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
