Quantity Surveyor

Our client, an experienced and market leading flexible facilities management company based in a busy operation in Bodmin are seeking to appoint a full time Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

The Main spec of the role Is below:

• Meeting their customer to determine their needs and discuss any areas that need revising for price or feasibility
• Calculating material quantities and costs, labour costs and an achievable project timeframe for Minor New Works, Variations and Lifecycle Works
• Negotiating labour contracts and schedules with self-delivery labour and subcontractor trades
• Monitoring subcontractors, safety practices, project progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact costs
• Management of costs, variations, and bill of quantities
• Preparing labour and supplier accounts for payment
• Writing reports detailing costs and progress for their customer

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in he above and have ideally worked within a facilities management environment before.

The role is full time permanent and offering a basic of £26K plus other excellent benefits that are associated with this dynamic company.
