This role is a Permanent Full-time role where you will work closely with our management teams to ensure contract objectives and margins are met. You will assist in managing the estimating requirements for multiple contracts. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a good knowledge of construction and able to deliver QS duties from inception to completion. Our Head Office is based in Threemilestone, Truro.
Role in Brief
You will be responsible for the surveying duties for multiple sites. Effectively managing costs, controlling budgets, valuations and managing sub-contractor procedures and processes, whilst ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:
, You will work closely with the site team across multiple projects.
, You will assist with selecting and agreeing on sub-contractor and material suppliers, obtain competitive prices and manage the sub-contractor packages and produce a programme of work based on the quotes.
, Have the ability to clearly articulate project needs and assist the project team in the identification and implementation of contract variation works.
, You will have a strong quantity surveying knowledge base throughout Pre and Post construction phases.
, Be able to produce valuations, applications and claims in line with contract requirements and maintain positive cash flow and maximise profitability on projects.
, Have the ability to interpret and make calculations based on drawings and prepare and deliver detailed, well presented tender submissions.
, You will be able to participate in identifying areas of risk and develop and monitor with the project team.
