Production Operative in Bodmin

My client, an established food manufacturer based in Bodmin are looking to recruit an experienced production operative to join their team.

This role is an immediate start, temp to perm and after 12 weeks- could lead to a perm role for the right candidate.

The candidate will be working in the kitchen area cooking fudge to exact requirements.

The skill set required are as follows:

• Can follow instructions and be willing to train up for at least 4-5 weeks with the understanding that if successful the position would be full time.
• Be able to work 7am-4pm Monday to Friday
• Reasonable physically fit as role includes lifting and weighing
• Able to work to achieve a plan, cooks are time sensitive
• General understanding of factory environment, understands food safety procedures although we do train
• Some experience in food production would be beneficial.

The rate:

• to start is £9.85 per hour and we pay weekly for the first 12 weeks
