Payroll Administrator

We are looking for an experienced payroll administrator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis in the St. Austell area. We manage and process a very busy temporary staff payroll for our recruitment agency.

Duties include:

  • Compliance of all 'new starters' to our agency
  • Entering timesheet information
  • Processing payroll from beginning to end
  • Dealing with SSP/SMP/Attachments
  • Processing holiday pay and P45's
  • Ensuring all staff are paid correctly/on time and dealing with any queries
  • A number of reporting duties/journal entries
  • Managing client portals

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience within a payroll or accounts environment and be extremely organised and able to work to tight deadlines. Excellent customer service skills are required along with time management.


  • 8-hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm
  • No weekends

Experience of Sage payroll is beneficial.

Salary: £21,000.00 per year plus bonuses
