Multi Trade Engineer

My client, a specialist in the maintenance and management of various schools, are seeking a multi-trade engineer with an electrical and plumbing background to join their team in and around the Truro area.

What we offer:

• Up to £32,000 per annum. 
• immediate start - Pending an interview. 
• Permanent role. 
• Monday – Friday 37.5h a week (NO WEEKENDS)

The Role

• Various electrical and plumbing duties where needed, all equipment to be provided.
• Basic Maintenance tasks including electrical work such as changing plug sockets, re-wiring, carrying out electrical testing, changing pipework in bathrooms and toilets.

Requirements:

• Electrical qualifications
• City and Guilds 2360 part 2/City and Guilds 2330 level 3 (or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 3 Installing and Commissioning Electro technical Systems.
• City & Guilds 2382 Requirements for Electrical installations BS7671 18th Edition.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection, Testing and certification of electrical Installations.

• Plumbing qualifications 
• NVQ Level 2 or higher in plumbing.
• Basic understanding of water hygiene.
• Excellent organisation and time keeping skills working to deadlines.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• Standards, systems, procedures, and process focused.
• Self-motivated, using own initiative, desire to learn and achieve.
• Driving Licence Required as you will be required to travel around the Truro area on occasion to different schools, but mileage will be paid at 40p per mile. Company van to be provided but there is a waiting list.
• Basic Handyperson experience preferred.
• Previous history of working in schools would be a bonus.
• Enhanced DBS will need to be processed, but we can provide this.
