IT Solutions provider is looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Engineer to work as part of a dynamic and responsive team supporting a range of businesses in the South West.
The duties will include support ticket management, on site, remote and telephone support.
Installation and configuration of new hardware and software, involvement in project planning and implementation and the research and identification of new technology.
The broad base of the role will be to provide remote and telephone support using their cutting edge managed services platform, to setup, configure and install new hardware and to provide proactive managed services to our clients.
Essential and Desirable Requirements and Skills
Full, clean, driving license
A can do attitude with a passion for problem solving
Excellent customer service skills are essential
Excellent telephone manner is essential
A desire to progress in the industry, learn new skills and acquire industry certifications is essential
Knowledge and experience of Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suites, Office 365, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare, Veeam, Anti-Virus Solutions, NAS and SAN Technology, Firewalls and Routers, Network Security, VLANs, Switching and IP Configuration, Data Security and Protection, Backup and Disaster Recovery.
