My client based on the outskirts of Newquay is looking for an Administrator with HR duties. This is a six month maternity leave contract.
For this role you will ideally have worked in a HR department and have excellent administration skills. This is a varied role and some of the duties will include creating new job adverts and displaying them, deal with responses and arrange interviews for successful candidates, attend interviews. Write offer letters and contracts for new starters and / or amendment letters to employee's contracts. Keep personnel files and details up to date, both hard copy and online, manage all starters and leavers as well as ensuring holiday and absence calendars are kept up to date. Manging inductions for all new starters.
Prepare salaries each month, including employees' extra allowances for overtime/shift premiums & relief allowances to send to Head Office. Preparing Excel spreadsheet on hours on a weekly basis.
Attend weekly management meetings and write up minutes.
This role has a salary of pro rata £19,000 . Hours are 8.30am – 4.30pm.
