Our client in St Ives are searching for an Experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join their Management Team of a fantastic Hotel, Self Catering & Golf Resort.
This is a full time, permanent role offering a £40,000 annual salary, working various shifts- days and evenings including weekends.
As Operations Manager you must ensure quality standards throughout the Resort and provide an excellent experience for the guests.
You will be responsible for overseeing accommodation, food and beverage, reception, conference and events, Golf sales as memberships as well as the spa.
The role is key for maximizing guest satisfaction and for the strategic development of the property.
This is a leadership role that requires people management skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to execute and follow through on projects.
As Resort Operations Manager you are responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the resort and will report to the General Manager.
Your daily duties will depend on the business needs, being hands on during busier periods and carrying out behind the scene office administrative management during quieter periods therefore you will need to be confident with time management and working on your own initiative.
You will also ensure that each department delivers a consistently high standard of guest service, achieve business objectives and maximise the profitability of all outlets and maintain effective cost controls in all areas.
