We are actively recruiting for a Bank Hospital Porter for our client a busy public service operation in Bodmin.

The right candidate will need to work in a high- pressured environment, need to work at speed, work to deadlines and as part as a team or alone.

A DBS is required for this role, we can assist with this, however there is an upfront cost of £38.60 for the DBS.

Duties will include but not limited to;

Delivering and collection of bloods twice daily- a 5-mile radius.

Moving of lining cages around site.

Move food trollies to wards and collection of items as requested.

No Patient movement required.

You will have-

Good communication in English, both written and oral

Ability to demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills

Basic computer skills

Be physically fit

Ability to work as a team member as well as on own initiative

To understand and observe the Data Protection Act and Trust policy regarding confidentiality.

Shift pattern:

12-hour shifts, covering nights and days.

4 shifts on 4 shifts off rota.

140 days cover per year

Rate: £10per hour
