Handyperson / Caretaker

My client, a specialist in the maintenance and management of various schools, are seeking a Handyperson/Caretaker to join their team in truro.

What we offer:

• £10.50 an hour
• Weekly pay
• Temp ongoing, immediate start
• Opportunity to go Permanent
• Accrue Holiday pay.
• Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm + Various shifts (NO WEEKENDS)

The Role

• Various duties where needed, all equipment to be provided.
• Lifting and moving deliveries around the site
• Mowing and maintaining garden areas
• Basic Maintenance tasks including fixing shelf's, painting and varnishing

Requirements:

• Driving Licence Required as you will be required to travel around the Truro area on occasion to different schools but milage will be paid for. Company van to be provided once gone permanent.
• Basic Handyperson experience preferred but no qualifications required.
• Previous history of working in schools would be a bonus.
• Enhanced DBS will need to be processed, but we can provide this.
