SpectrumASD is a registered charity, with over 35 years’ experience providing specialist residential support for adults living with Autism. We have over twenty properties in central Cornwall, most of which are homes for autistic people, other properties include a school for autistic children and the head office is located at Blackwater Truro, where the maintenance team is based on site.
The maintenance team plays a vital role in responding to a variety of job requests across our properties including scheduled decoration, renovation projects, emergency repairs and other related heavy-duty jobs. We are currently looking to recruit 2 general builders to join the team, as soon as possible, on a full-time basis and permanent contract of employment.
All our residential care homes need to be safe, autism-friendly environments which conform to strict regulatory expectations such as Health and Safety standards. This role provides a unique opportunity to learn about autism and to develop your career by becoming a maintenance specialist within a regulated setting. The work will be varied and sometimes challenging, so you will never be bored!
