My clients produce medical devices for health care providers in offices, clinics, operating rooms, labor and delivery suites, and reproductive IVF clinics.

Key responsibilities will include:-

• Ensure effective fault-finding processes are in place for mechanical and electronic, also undertaking fault–finding where needed
• Monitor and report production engineering KPIS
• Lead and initiate key projects
• Oversee and provide support on improvement tools and methodology, helping to ensure the best method is used for any particular issue
• Driving the use of lean tools as part of projects and day-to-day working practices
• Own and drive improvement of the Work Instructions set, also documenting these when and where needed
• Ensure that effective root cause analysis is routinely used, also undertaking root cause analysis where necessary
• Support other departments where required e.g. facilitating a process to solve high-frequency customer complaints
• Implement & define manufacturing improvements –driving CI across all elements of the value stream
• Create & deliver agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and ensure preventative/corrective actions to achieve required goals

Required Qualifications:-

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred, HND/HNC Considered
• Lean Manufacturing or Six sigma qualification
Project Management skills essential
• Proactively drive a culture of Continuous Improvement
• HND/HNC Engineering
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Degree Qualified Engineer
• Lean Six Sigma
• Smartsheets
• Navision
• Lean Manufacturing (TPM)
