First Aider in Launceston, Cornwall

We are seeking to appoint a confident, caring and organised person to join our team in the role of School First Aider. This role will require applicants to assess the medical and welfare needs of students and staff, and administer front-line First Aid. The successful candidate will ensure that pupils with ongoing medical needs are supported in school in line with their Individual Health Care Plans, administer approved medication to students and maintain records and reports, including those for statutory requirements. Applicants will ideally hold a current First Aid certificate and relevant experience of working in a similar environment is desirable.
Contract: Fixed term from December 2021/January 2022 until 9th April 2022 initially however there is the potential to extend after this period ends.
Hours: 20 hours per week, term time only
Salary: Grade C1 (£9.59, £18,500FTE), £8,271.58 pro rata, actual salary £2941.01 for the fixed term contract.
