Field Service Engineer in Hayle

Berry Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer for a client based in Hayle.

You will deliver, repair, service and maintain manual and power wheelchairs and accessories within service user's home and other associated locations e.g. schools/college, care homes and hospital settings, and if required within the warehouse.
This will include completing all associated paperwork concerning repairs and servicing, accurately recording on a daily basis using scanners. This role may be required to assist with warehouse duties including annual and interim stock takes as required.
We are looking for candidates who are confident in using bench and/or hand tools.
Strong customer service skills with an empathetic approach are highly desirable.
The ideal candidate would also have previous experience of working in domestic appliance industry or similar.
This is a full time permanent position.
Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm (40 hours)
You will be required to participate in on call rota (out of hours and weekends) which you will be paid a standby allowance.
You must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 3 years which qualifies you to drive a light goods van.
In return the company will offer you:
Salary of £19,780 pa to go up to £21,383 pa after 12 weeks
