Cornwall Marine Network has a new exciting opportunity to join our team to become the Business ESF Project Manager on this new local ESF skills and training capacity building project.The project is high profile and requires an experienced manager with a proven track record of achieving success for employers in ESF projects. Supported by the CMN Operations Director, you will provide line management to a team of Skills Brokers with responsibility for identifying the current and emerging skills needs of local employers across Cornwall. You will then work closely with the CMN and sector-based training teams to ensure solutions to employers’ needs are found. You will take overall project responsibility for this new project aimed at improving the capability and capacity of local training infrastructures to deliver improved support and engagement with skills in the local Marine, Manufacturing and Retail sectors. You will be responsible for ensuring achievement of all financial and outputs targets relating to the contract and managing the procuring of training experts to support employers with the skills they need. You will also support Cornwall Council’s Construction sector skills delivery. Duties will include project management that complies with ESF regulations. Project procurements and managing the project grant scheme process to support local employers. You will be responsible for project KPI’s and will coordinate delivery.
