Design Engineer in Truro

Teagle Machinery Ltd has been designing and manufacturing an extensive range of machinery at its Blackwater production facility near Truro for over 75 years.
The products manufactured on-site include bale processors, manure spreaders, grassland mowers, fertiliser broadcasters, and cement mixers. All manufactured products are implements to be used on farms to aid the production of food, with mowers also sold to agricultural and amenity markets.
In recent years, Teagle Machinery has grown to become regarded as a global specialist in Bale Processing (for feeding and bedding livestock) by farmers around the world.
This is an opportunity to join the team developing new and existing products for the agricultural market as Teagle Machinery Ltd continues to invest in R&D activities.
This position is ideally suited to a new or recent engineering graduate to degree level. You will be involved with the initial design concept, prototype manufacture, product development, production information, and problem-solving with the customer.
Applicants need a good knowledge of agriculture, the experience of using a 3D Design Package and have previous experience in design and manufacturing. They should also be computer literate able to demonstrate good communication skills.
