My client, an established local authority, are seeking an Administrator to contribute as a member of their customer service team in Roche, St. Austell.

This role is a temporary, full time position with an opportunity to acquire a permanent contract with our client after 12 weeks.

The Shift:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • £10.42 an hour
  • Temp to perm for the right candidate.

A standard DBS is required for this role – we can process one for £38.60 - this will be posted to your address to keep.

The Role:

  • Dealing with clients and their families, and clinical prescribing staff i.e., District Nurses and therapists.
  • Organising the delivery and collection of medical equipment to clients homes across Cornwall.
  • To monitor, review and improve processes, systems and practices to ensure that principal officers perform successfully and optimise efficiencies.
  • To communicate effectively with members of the public and colleagues in a clear and concise manner taking account of the particular circumstances
  • To provide administrative support to ensure efficient running of the Service.
  • To manage the filing and storage of all electronic and paper files, in line with best data management practice, to ensure efficient and effective record keeping.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous Office administration experience is desirable
  • Organised with clear attention to detail
  • Must be computer literate
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadline
