Cornwall Marine Network has a new exciting opportunity to become the Compliance Manager for two of our subsidiary companies; the Cornwall Marine Academy and the Cornwall Apprenticeship Agency. This is a new post resulting from significant and sustained expansion.
The successful applicant will manage the finance and compliance activity of projects being delivered by the CMA and CAA. This will include taking a lead on developing, deploying and continually seeking to improve the project operating systems, processes and policies, including management reporting, information flow and management monitoring, business process and project planning on behalf of both subsidiary companies, and supporting the reporting of management information to CMN. You will manage the administrative function, systems and processes, performance and quality expectations, with budgetary responsibilities and will work closely in association with the CMA & CAA Director and the CMA Partnerships and Delivery Manager.
The successful applicant will ensure proactive management and record keeping; identify and report on risks and issues; develop and maintain data management and recordkeeping procedures; support the financial performance of the CMA and CAA and ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting and compliance with ESF processes and all financial and regulatory requirements. You will prepare project claims; generally support the growth of the team and participate in stakeholder meetings when required.
Cornwall Marine Academy CIC supports young people wanting to join the local marine sector to better understand future career opportunities, and improve their work experience and employability skills.
Cornwall Apprenticeship Agency is the only privately owned Apprenticeship Training Agency in Cornwall and supports employers to recruit Apprentices and reduces the risks and costs for the participating businesses.
Cornwall Marine Network is an employer-owned not-for-profit company that supports Cornwall marine businesses to grow, including placing nearly 4,000 local people into jobs since 2005.
Competitive Salary, subject to experience.
37.5 hours per week, permanent contract, and Company Pension Scheme
