Penwith Care is a renowned community care company in South Cornwall. We provide domiciliary care and excellent support to over 200 people in the region. Due to the growth we are experiencing as a company, we are constantly on the lookout for carers to join our highly motivated and caring team.

If you have previous experience within a healthcare capacity or similar or are looking for a change of career, you may be just the person we are looking for being a carer can be a very rewarding role and all training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting service users in their day to day living, ensuring they are safe and comfortable as well as supporting their independence as much as possible
- Helping with toileting, washing, dressing, mealtimes and medication
- Doing the shopping for them or any other tasks that may be more difficult for them
- Being a familiar face, someone to make them feel comfortable and safe in their own homes
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will possess experience in the health & social sector, however not essential as full training will be provided
- You must be a driver with a valid driving licence, ideally with access to car
- Be able to work every other weekend
- Friendly, trustworthy and caring nature
- Able to work shifts (7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm) or one or the other. Some flexibility is possible depending on circumstances
