Porter/catering assistant

Porter / Catering Assistant - Truro.

We are currently recruiting for a Porter/Catering Assistant on a temporary ongoing basis for our client a busy public service operation based in Truro.  

This is an ONGOING role.

You will be required to do 3 days paid training in the week, 7am - 6:30pm.

The role:

• Taking orders over the catering radio, responding and actioning jobs
• Delivering orders and catering equipment to wards and departments.
• Be aware and mindful of following all food hygiene procedures.
• You will need to be physically fit, this role will involve walking and delivering on a large site throughout the shift.
• Supporting the catering team.
• Work within friendly, professional teams
• Prioritise work loads

You will need an in-date DBS, we can assist with this, however please note there is a £38.60 charge for a DBS.

Level 2 food safety and hygiene training, we can provide online training at no cost to you.

Days:

• Week one- Monday, Thursday, and Friday
• Week two- Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday

Hours:

• 7am - 6:30pm

Salary:

• Monday - Friday - £10.90ph.
• Saturdays - £14.62ph
• Sundays - £18.97ph

Weekly pay, every Friday, plus you do accrue holiday pay.
