An expanding business, based on the outskirts of Truro are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Admin team and assist with the daily operations of the office. It would be an advantage for the candidate to have a financial services background but not essential. However, strong admin/secretarial skills are.

The candidate will be given training on the internal IT systems, but a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

Answer incoming call and handle enquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Taking detailed accurate messages when necessary.
Maintain diaries for advisors.
Arrange meetings with clients our and confirm appointments
Assist with the preparation of files for client meetings
Meeting and greeting clients
Copying, scanning and filing documents
Distributing incoming post together with preparing outgoing post

Proven experience as an administrative assistant/secretary
Ability to handle sensitive information with high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Outlook and Word
Excellent attention to detail
Financial Services background/experience is desirable but not a requirement for the right candidate
