Rock Marine Services are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. We are based on the industrial estate at St Minver. The skills required are those of an office assistant although the job is very diverse and not based in a conventional office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Manage and maintain files, records, and documents
- Schedule customer bookings and requests.
- Support customer service by responding to customer inquiries and providing assistance
- Communicate with and support other departments.
Skills:
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer support skills for interacting with clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- General office skills such as filing, organizing, and maintaining office supplies
This position requires a candidate who is organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative roles. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective interaction with clients and staff. Days: Monday to Friday plus every other Saturday (A Day off in the week will be offered when a Saturday is worked)
Hours: 8.30-18.00 (Main Season) and 08.30 to 17.00 (Off Season)
