Hours: 30-37.5 hours negotiable for the right candidates

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, resilient and forward-thinking person to support the development of the service and be a role model of outstanding support. As Team Leader you will play an important part in developing and delivering innovative person-centred services. Working on and off rota, reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the service consistently meets internal and external quality standards. In addition, you will be responsible for supervising Support Workers so familiarity with supervising a team is essential. You will collate and quality audit daily and weekly records into our online support planning and ensure compliancy. You will ensure all staff are aware of support outcomes and are consistently working with the people we support to achieve them.
A current working knowledge of CQC regulations would be advantageous.
You will work with the Service Manager to lead a team providing a combination of delivering 1:1 support and core background support within a shared hub for 6/7 individuals living in their own flats with access to a support hub.

You will be patient and good humoured. You will have experience supporting and providing services for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and be able to work in a way that is truly person centred - aiming to make a real difference to the individual’s lives by promoting independence and enhancing their perception of quality of life. It is important that you understand that this looks different for each individual. You will influence support delivery and role model positive service culture.

You will need flexibility between Monday to Sunday (2 weekends in 4 off) to meet service requirements, tasks and time on rota.

Driving license & access to a car is desirable for this vacancy as you will be required to attend external meetings
Flexibility to fulfil service need is essential
