Support Worker
Salary: £9.30 - £9.60 per hour
Hours: We have full-time and part-time positions available – 23 hours, 38.5 hours and we have two positions at 19 hours per week.
Location: Supported Living Plymouth
We are recruiting Support Workers to support an individual in their own home. Ideally, they will be a driver, supporting a young man with a learning disability and Autism, who can display behaviours of concern.
The aim of the job role would be to work as part of a small support team promoting the individual’s independence, maintaining, and promoting life skills, as well as supporting his health and wellbeing. You will be resilient with a positive outlook and have an upbeat approach to supporting people. You will be a great planner, organiser and motivator to support individuals to achieve an outcome focused support plan. You will be a great role model. Applicants with experience of Autism are preferred. Previous experience of supporting people with complex needs in supported living or domiciliary support would be an advantage.
