Job Title: Night Production Supervisor
Berry Recruitment are currently seeking a Night Production Supervisor for a client based in Redruth.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all production lines operating under the Frozen Department.
The main aim of this role is to ensure the team are focused on producing product that meets cost, quality and time standards. You will ensure the KPI data is gathered, on target and reported daily.
Achievement of manufacturing staff results by effective communication of job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. This will be completed through coaching, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintaining and developing staff by selecting, training and supporting personal growth opportunities.
Maintaining work flow by monitoring steps of the process including setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Completing the production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel effectively, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards.
Ensuring operation of equipment by understanding the operating manuals and carrying out setting adjustments.
Providing manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance records and data.
Creating and developing systems and procedures by analysing operating practices, effective record-keeping, forms of control, and budgetary requirements.
Maintaining safe and clean working environments by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources.
To maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
Ability to setup line and fulfil job with minimal disruption.
Raw material requisition – arrange raw material coming into line to minimise downtime.
Manage and allocate colleagues to effectively perform against production targets.
Packaging ordering – ensuring adequate packaging is available to maintain production.
Paperwork completion – In accordance with the job.
This is a full time position starting immediately.
You will be required to work 5 nights per per week, Monday to Friday.
