Live in Carer - Self Employed in Cornwall

Our client has immediate opening for candidates wishing to work in Live in Care roles, both local and nationally to work on a self-employed basis.
You will have a minimum of one year’s professional care experience, gained recently within the past year or two, ideally within a live-in care capacity, but all experience will be considered such as community, 1-2-1 and complex care.
Package:
Flexible work pattern, you decide the length of your availability, where possible
Choice of care packages and locations available
Working on a self-employed basis so you have total control
Great rates of pay depending one experience and package of £550-£800 per week
Accommodation and food are provided at no cost whilst working
Extra bonuses monthly for drivers with own transport of up to £200 a month
Immediate start for the right candidates
Ongoing support throughout the process and beyond
Support with travel costs / expenses
DBS free of charge if not one already in place
Responsibilities:
• Offer a regular and reliable helping hand throughout the day
• Personal hygiene assistance including bathing/showering/toilet
• Help with going to bed at night and getting up in the morning
• Medication tasks and support complex care needs where required
• Preparing meals and drinks
• Tidying up, vacuuming, washing up, changing beds, doing laundry and general housekeeping
• Being a friend by chatting, watching tv and helping them continue to do all the things they love and lead the life they wish
Requirements:
Must have 1 year's proven professional care experience - gained within past year or two
Happy to live away from home and carry out all the duties of a live-in carer
Reliable, professional and compassionate
Good levels of English
Must have the right to work in UK
Possess a valid DBS check or be happy to undergo one
Possess in date valid manual handling / care certificates
Ideally driving license and own transport
